Experience Behind the Curriculum
I began repairing appliances in 2019 and have worked with both residential and commercial appliances.
My experience has included in-home service, appliance fix-and-flip work, formal in-person training programs, manufacturer training, and thousands of hours of hands-on troubleshooting, electrical study, experimentation, and continued learning.
I eventually moved away from day-to-day field service and into technical support, where helping technicians work through difficult appliance problems reinforced how important strong fundamentals really are.
Why Appliance Tech Academy Exists
I created this curriculum because I repeatedly saw gaps in the way appliance repair was being taught.
Too often, students receive pieces of information without being shown how those pieces work together during a real diagnosis. Electrical concepts may be taught once, then effectively forgotten when appliance-specific training begins.
Appliance Tech Academy was built to connect those concepts and provide an affordable way to learn the craft without requiring students to spend thousands of dollars simply to develop a strong technical foundation.

More than a year was spent personally typing the modules, developing the explanations, drawing instructional diagrams, creating graphics, and detailing the diagnostic processes taught throughout the program.
