The Service Alliance Group is geared toward appliance repair, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing fields. They have a lot to offer. Check out their site for more information.

UASA is a great resource for those in the appliance field. Check out their website for more information.

Looking to get your EPA certification? This website will provide you the training material you need to ace the test. They also offer the test.

The Service Corps of Retired Executives. If you’ve never heard of SCORE, they provide free business advice to small businesses, and it’s a well-established entity.
While this is not directly related to appliance repair, it’s definitely a valuable resource you should check out.

If you do any work with commercial laundry equipment (such as SpeedQueen, Heubsch, Dexter, etc.), this resource is a must. They provide parts, technical assistance and documentation, and training.

NASTeC Certification is a testing program to assess your competence as a technician. While certification is not necessary in the field, having it proves that you’re well versed in the field.

PSA is yet again another fantastic resource, and they also have a certification program.

Expert Clean has a section for Appliance Professionals. This is generally where you can get a free sampler box of detergents that you can hand out to customers.
